Dr. Portuese has extensive experience in Facial Plastic Surgery; he completed his surgical internship and residency at Louisiana State University Medical Center and after residency, he completed a one year fellowship with Dr. Frank Kamer, an internationally renowned facial plastic surgeon.
Dr. William Portuese learned many advances in facial cosmetic surgery including the closed rhinoplasty technique where all incisions are made internally.
Dr. Portuese’s experience in Rhinoplasty is extensive; he has performed thousands of nasal and Rhinoplasty surgeries and has given many lectures locally and nationally on Rhinoplasty.

He has a deep appreciation for the balance and harmony of nature and devotes much of his personal time to his family; and when time allows he enjoys fishing, water skiing, hiking and visits to the numerous slopes to snow ski.
